Phew! What a journey!
We spent the afternoon looking up flights to Alaska from areas around Alabama. My mom and Jennifer want to come visit for a week. I completely do not understand the air transportation system and pricing. Explain to me why is it $800 to leave from Memphis TN and then $ 1000 to leave from Seattle WA? That makes absolutely no sense. Then we decided to try from Maine and it is exactly the same, next we tried for during different months/seasons and still no difference. In conclusion the distances and the time of season makes no difference in price? Go figure.
The cheapest flight we found was from Philadelphia PA for $500 give or take a few dollars. Okay, Tina and Bruce: Come visit!
